Meet Pool Trade: 14 Branches, One Price Promise
Manufacturer-direct pool equipment at the counter, for contractors and homeowners alike. Walk in for trade pricing and same-day supply at 14 branches across South Africa, Namibia and Mauritius.
Pool Trade exists for a simple reason: pool equipment shouldn’t pick up three layers of markup on its way from the factory to your pool. We sell manufacturer-direct, we skip the middlemen, and the saving lands in your pocket instead of someone else’s margin.
Our counters were built with the trade in mind, but nobody gets turned away. Pool builders, service technicians and maintenance teams restocking for the week stand in the same queue as a homeowner whose pump packed up on a Friday afternoon. Everyone gets trade pricing, and everyone walks out with stock the same day.
What you’ll find on our shelves
Every Pool Trade branch is set up around the same four core ranges, so the essentials are on hand wherever you walk in:
Looking for something specific, or buying in quantity for a project? Give your branch a quick call before you drive over and the team will confirm what’s on the shelf and quote you trade pricing.
Why our branches are where they are
We didn’t pick sites to look impressive on a map. Each location was chosen because it sits close to the people who actually buy pool equipment: contractors working in the area and the households that own pools. That’s why you’ll find most branches near major routes, industrial parks and busy residential suburbs, where a quick stop doesn’t eat into your working day.
The network will keep growing, but slowly and deliberately. A shop on every street corner isn’t the goal. A new branch only opens when it genuinely makes buying from us easier for the customers in that area.
A lean network means lower prices
Here’s something the big chains rarely say out loud: every store has running costs. Rent, salaries, stock holding, electricity and security all add up, and when a retailer expands too fast, those costs quietly find their way into the price on the shelf.
We’ve gone the other way. A tight, well-placed branch network keeps our overheads down, and that saving is built into what you pay every day. It’s not a special or a once-off sale. It’s simply how Pool Trade is set up to work.
Lower overheads, sharper prices. That’s the entire plan.
Manufacturer-direct, not middleman-marked-up
Behind every Pool Trade counter is more than 20 years of pool equipment manufacturing and factory-direct buying. The products on our shelves come from that same supply chain, which is how we keep pricing at manufacturer-direct levels rather than retail levels.
Our Gosforth Park branch in Germiston sits right alongside the manufacturing and distribution operation that supplies the whole network. Put simply: the goods are made and sourced at the start of the chain, and Pool Trade puts them within driving distance of you, whether you’re in Gauteng, on the KZN coast, in the Western Cape, in Windhoek or in Grand Baie.

Growing where it makes sense
Fourteen branches is where we are today, not where we’ll stop. As new branches open, we’ll share the news here and on Instagram at @pool.trade. The test for every new site stays exactly the same: it has to make buying easier for you without pushing up the prices you pay.
Until then, pop into your nearest branch, or call or WhatsApp us on 066 503 7475 and we’ll point you in the right direction.
